Gymkhana Day at Pickering Horse Centre
It was Gymkhana Day on March 16 at the Pickering Horse Centre. In case you're wondering what that is, it's a series of games & events for young riders to strengthen their skills and timing on a horse. It's one of the many great activities that take place at the centre and this event was no exception as several young riders were out on a beautiful day taking part in some very interesting games. SNAP was there trying to capture all of the action, but the riders weren't about to stop for too long as the competition started to heat up. Soon these young riders may find themselves in competitive barrel-racing, pole bending and tent-pegging. Beautiful day, beautiful horses and a whole lot of equestrian fun!
